Board Meetings
The Association Board Meeting are held the second Wednesday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for July 14, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at the
community pool, on-site. Owners are welcome to attend and may address the Board during Homeowner Forum.

TRASH TROUBLES
As residents of Mariposa, we all take pride in the beautiful appearance of our community, but it has been noticed that trash cans seem to be staying
out longer and longer throughout the neighborhood and are detracting from the overall appearance of the Association. Trash cans can be put out the night
before pick up and should be stored in the garage by the evening of pick up. We don’t want to be the “trash police” but when trash cans are still out
days after pick up, you start to notice! Also, please do not leave trash cans in front of the garage or on the patio where they can be seen by neighbors
and potentially attract pests. And if you will be going out of town, please make arrangements with a neighbor to take care of your trash cans while away.
I’m sure we would all be happy to assist. Thank you!

MAN'S BEST FRIEND
If you have ever gone for a walk in the afternoon, you know that Mariposa is a community of dog lovers. But even as animal aficionados, we still need to
keep our neighbors, community rules and the law in mind when it comes to our pets. Please remember to keep your dog on a leash and under the control of
a capable individual when out enjoying the neighborhood. This is the law and we would hate to have an accident or injury occur if a dog ran into the
street in front of a vehicle or bit another resident or animal. Also, barking dogs can become quite a headache and get other dogs chiming in, so your
assistance in keeping your pets as quiet as possible is greatly appreciated!

COLLECTION POLICY UPDATE
As submitted to you in April, the proposed collection policy revision has been approved as drafted, and is now in effect. As a reminder, these revisions
were only made to bring the policy into compliance with the CC&R’s and did not significantly change the policy. If you have misplaced the original collection
policy provided to you in April, please contact Management for a copy, which is free of charge when sent via e-mail.

FIRE SEASON
The June gloom is over and sunny July is here! And with it comes fire season. Currently your Board is coordinating with Green Valley Landscape to complete
the brush management/weed abatement work on the perimeter slopes, which helps remove fuel for potential fires. You can also lend a hand with fire safety by
having your rain gutters cleared of any debris, such as pine needles, leaves, etc. While the Association will repair and replace the rain gutters if they
are damaged or falling, cleaning out of the gutters is the responsibility of each property owner. And please keep personal safety in mind if you elect to
clear your gutters by yourself. There are plenty of local vendors who would be happy to assist you in this process.

POOL USE
And speaking of summer heat, have you been down to enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi recently? We hope you are enjoying our refreshing facilities and perhaps
meeting a few new neighbors while you are there! While most residents respect the facilities and use them appropriately, we ask that you take a moment
to review the pool area rules to make sure that you are aware of them:

• No more than 5 guests per unit are permitted in the pool area at a time and need to be accompanied by the unit resident.
• The Jacuzzi may not be used by anyone under 14 unless accompanied by a legal adult 18 years or older. This is for safety purposes.
• The pool area is open from 7AM to 11PM. Please observe the quite hours before 8AM and after 9PM so as not to disturb other residents.

These were just a few of the pool rules. A complete list can be found in your Rules & Regulations Handbook. A copy can be obtained from Management if needed
and is free of charge when sent via e-mail.

ASPHALT PROJECT
While the asphalt repair work was completed the end of June and first of July, the sealing and striping work is scheduled to start July 19th and be finished
July 27th. As with the repair work, the sealing and striping will be done in three phases and a separate notice and color map will be provided for your
information. Thank you in advance for your anticipated assistance in moving your vehicles as necessary and not driving over the new work until the appropriate
time. And please make sure to read the sealing and striping notice carefully regarding any special restrictions or expectations. Thanks!
